In this engaging online course we will explore the meaning of "keeping kosher." Rabbi Janet Madden, PhD will lead us in a lively discussion of the rules of kashrut and their origin; what we know and want to learn about kashrut; and what is appealing and challenging about Jewish mindful eating practices. We will also discuss how to make kosher choices. We look forward to learning with you!
We invite you to deepen your connection to Jewish life and community, boost your confidence, and answer questions that surfaced after you converted in this five-session workshop. Enjoy experiential learning in a supportive environment for people who have chosen Judaism. Partners or adult family members are invited to attend! Register for the third session, also a stand-alone session focused on Jewish dietary practices known as Kashrut.
