Orientation/Training in Orange County--Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din

Join in the sacred task of conversion  

As a rabbi, you have the unique opportunity to serve as a dayan on Southern California’s Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din. You will have an integral role in bringing conversion candidates into their first moments as a Jew. The Bet Din provides for conversions in a pluralistic, inclusive community. The Bet Din can also be your home for performing your candidates’ conversions, and it will provide the other dayanim for the panel and documents that acceptable for aliyah to Israel.

We have an Orange County branch of the Bet Din,

To become a dayan for the Bet Din, you must be a member of the Board of Rabbis of Southern California and your rabbinical association.

You also need to attend an Orientation/Training.
